This video preview was designed and produced by Adam Silver, Director, C.X. Silver Gallery, www[dot]cxsilvergallery[dot]com. We have had the pleasure to show Mr. Le Xi's multimedia installations of flash video, silver ink on plastic, and other mixed media stationary and kinetic works. The current video is composed of clips and stills taken by Adam Silver and collaged into this video preview. The video is the product of a three-way collaboration between the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center (www[dot]brattleboromuseum[dot]org), the C.X. Silver Gallery, and Le Xi and his own website, lexistudio[dot]com. For further information, contact Adam Silver at cxsilvergallery[at]myfairpoint[dot]net or Le Xi at lexiartwork[at]yahoo[dot]com. This installation is one of 10 during the past year for Le Xi, including 8 in New York City and 2 in Brattleboro, Vermont. Le Xi describes his work thus: "In my art practice, I use trails and the symbols of 'plus' and 'minus' to look for what is art and what is material, trying to open up inner space and exploring the boundary between imagination and reality. The focus is on movement, speed, exchange and transition. In this installation, the public is invited to participate in communicating through a shared simple language, expressing 'plus', 'minus' or both."
