“THANK YOU” FROM THE CHRISTENSON FAMILY
The love of our God increases with our needs. God’s love has been shown to us once again by our brothers and sisters in faith. Many of you heard that our van was lost in an accident while we were in Madison with Obi in February. Members of many of our WELS congregations in the area gave gifts of over $11,000 to help us get a new, reliable vehicle for our family. Thank you. We are so blessed by God through you.
Obi’s surgery was a success at removing his tumor from his abdomen. But within a short time, there has been new cancer growth. He has had one round of chemotherapy since the surgery and is recovering from that right now. He is also working on physical therapy so that he might be able to walk again. Please keep him in your prayers. We are assured that he is in the loving hands of his Savior and we trust that He will do what is best for Obadiah. You are welcome to follow his progress on his Caring Bridge site: caringbridge.org/visit/obichristenson.
