TISSUE, as described in this 17th-century European account of the voyage of Hasekura Tsunenaga:
"They blow their noses in soft silky papers the size of a hand, which they never use twice, so that they throw them on the ground after usage, and they were delighted to see our people around them precipitate themselves to pick them up."
Rahman Hak-Hagir (May 15, 1972) is an Austrian-born Vienna-based half-Afghan conceptual and performance artist who began his career in 1990. Active for two decades in varied fields of art, his work is recently focussing on the conflicting priorities between individual and social environment.
Francesca Lolli (October 4, 1976) is an Italian Perugia-born performance artist, actress and scenographer who currently lives and works in Milano. After graduating at 'Teatro Arsenale' she attended the 'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera', graduating magna cum laude as a scenographer. Since 2012 she is focussing into performance & video art.
