5 of us set off on 2 x BMW GS's and 1 x Triumph Tiger recently on what would be a gruelling but rewarding 2600 mile ride around Morocco. This is a random set of Mounted Go Pro clips in no particular order. All a bit shaky due to the road conditions and being partly off road.
Starting in Spain we got the ferry over to Morocco to Cueta and after negotiating the chaotic border we then journeyed over the Rif mountains through lawless towns and then headed down to Fez.
From Fez we rode down to Marrakech, the High Atlas mountains and then over to Ouarzazate and the Draa Valley. The next stage took us up to the Dades and the Todra gorge before heading out to Erfoud and the Northern Sahara. Finally we headed back to Fez for the night and then back to Spain.
A fantastic road trip and well worth doing. Hard work as the drivers over there seem to have never learn't to drive and do not care about yours, let alone their safety. You do also get a lot of hassle in some areas which can get tiresome.
Keep your wits about you though and you will experience some stunning scenery and the culture Morocco has to offer. My advice would be to avoid the central Rif mountains if you are on a motorcycle. The rest though is fantastic.
