Julie and Tim are the kind of couple that can sit at home for hours watching "I Love Lucy" and have the time of their lives. They appreciate the little things in life and never take anything too seriously. Their wedding perfectly reflected who they are. It took place at the gorgeous Wooden Nickel Ranch which is complete with beautiful horses, hay bails, and mason jars.

When crafting their film our team wanted to portray their laid back personalities. We did this by rarely using tripod shots and instead shooting more handheld. This gave their film a very laid back and spontaneous feel. When choosing the song for this film we decided to choose a song that was carefree and had a old country vibe to it complete with upbeat banjos, guitars, and violins. By spending the time choosing a song based on Julie and Tims story rather then choosing a random pop song we were able to create a film that perfectly portrayed the vibe of their wedding day.

Before every wedding we take the time to become friends with our couples and find out what their story is. As we became friends with Tim and Julie we found out their story is super interesting. They actually met on Myspace and Tim proposed multiple times throughout their relationship before they finally got married. Crazy right?! Upon discovering these juicy details we knew we had to include their success at Myspace matchmaking in the film. We also discovered that their handwritten vows were very important to them and that they portrayed perfectly who they are as a couple. Upon learning this we decided that their vows were going to become the backbone of their film.

Our whole team loved the process of discovering and telling Julie and Tim's awesome story and we couldn't be more excited with how it turned out! We hope this film constantly reminds them to never take life too seriously and always take joy in each other! :)
