I don't generally make a habit of running in circles, but when I do, the view better be worth it. The course at Level 32 Racing's Shotgun Trail Blast was fantastic. A little muddy and a lot hilly, I had a great run and came in first in the 25K (2:01:17).
The course was comprised of a 5.2 mile loop which we ran three times. After the first loop, I was alongside a seasoned runner who wasn't going to let me off easy. On the second loop, I pulled away after the 3-mile hill and held onto the lead.
This was also my first race using my new Garmin VIRB, so look for a montage of the scenic course soon.
