Author and journalist Domini Stuart spoke at Sutherland Library on 5 March 2014 about her series of books, Staying well for life.

Domini draws on her own experiences with eating disorders, breast cancer and the death of a child to show that staying well isn't about struggle and willpower. A gentle approach makes positive change far easier to sustain; a healthy weight, staying physically active, feeling less stressed and more optimistic and even escaping everyday addictions can gradually become an integral part of a happier and more fulfilling life.

It's the simple choices we make every day that shape our future, showing it's surprisingly easy to build good choices into your everyday life. Her aim is to help people develop the physical and emotional resilience they need to stay well and cope with life’s inevitable challenges.
