This is a video I created as an option for animating vector / hand painted / cartoony textures over 3d meshes. In Xsi create your "head". Texturize it accordingly. Duplicate. Create a new material (with new facial texture) apply to mesh. Control visibility during timeline with custom parameter booleans and make them equal to the mesh´s visibility in it´s ppg.
