This has become our go-to launch site for NW winds in the Ketchum, ID area, an unnamed summit in the Boulder Mountains with an elevation of 8,588 ft. The impressive and beautiful Boulder Peak looms in the background at just under 11,000 ft. We did a hike-and-fly then packed up and started heading home, satisfied with our flight. It didn't take long to realize we were headed in the wrong direction. Conditions were perfect, we needed another lap! A quick lunch with kale salad to get those super(food) powers and we were back on the skin track.
