Renewable energy sources challenge us to think differently about the expectation that energy is always available whenever we demand it. Lancaster University researchers are working in partnership with the citizens of Tiree, a small island off the west coast of Scotland, to explore our everyday assumptions around energy and think about alternative energy models to the ones currently available. This video tells the first part of 'the story' about living and working in this new energy context on the edge of supply.
