"CineTrek from the Field" highlights production footage created by members of the CineTrek program. CineTrek (short for Cinematic Journey), pairs apprentice filmmakers and photographers with seasoned professionals in the field to create media resources for humanitarian organizations. CineTrek is a program of the non-profit organization MediaServe International.
Videos are one minute updates from the field and have no intricate editing. Just footage updates from the stories we are working on.
The clip "Henna Time-lapse"" is from a project with the International Rescue Committee. This was recorded at a small beauty shop located in Eastleigh, Nairobi. CineTrek is partnering with the International Rescue Committee to tell the story of urban refugees.
Shot with the Canon 7D, Canon 17-55 2.8 IS Lens, Miller CF Solo DS20 Tripod & Marshall 7" monitor. Music from Kevin Macleod - incompetech.com
