August 2015 WB Surf Camp will be hosting a free surf camp for children affected by Alopecia, an autoimmune disorder which affects 4.7 million Americans, causing partial to complete hair loss. By sharing the Aloha spirit (the breath of life) with families who have dealt with this life altering condition, WB Surf Camp together with the Children's Alopecia Project (CAP) hope to bring joy to those families and connect them with the healing powers of the ocean through the experience of surfing.
This event consists of learning to surf, boogie boarding, beach games, food, and fellowship to provide an amazing confidence building experience while bringing as many smiles as possible to those children affected by alopecia. Come down to Wrightsville Beach, NC this summer and let us/help us change lives one wave at a time!
