Ruminate is a short film created during the 1st annual 48-hour/24 frames per second/12-minute (48.24.12) film competition for students in the Contemporary Practices program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). **Update: It was screened at the Gene Siskel Film Center on April 12th, 2014 and was picked as the 1st place winner by a panel of judges.
To make it an even playing field, we were required to only use Media Equipment available at the school media center, make it 8-12 minutes long, and were given a prompt of 6 things to include that were issued during the commencement of the competition.
2. Newspaper with date within the 48 hours (April 5th-6th weekend)
3. Animal (ours was a turtle)
5. Uniform of any kind
