The Laboratory for Explorative Architecture & Design Ltd. (LEAD) was invited by the RIBA to participate in the 2014 Shanghai Xintiandi Windows project. The installation "BREATHING" is built for Sushibar Ichininmae and placed at the restaurant entrance in Xintiandi Shopping Mall's atrium. A curling spine surfaces from the floor - its flexible skin from colourful, iridescent scales slowly breathing; hypnotically capturing light, reflections and gazes from mesmerised spectators.

On display until 5 May 2014!
