Love Cuts is an experiment in online interactive media that was produced in 2002 and was Australia's first interactive drama made exclusively for broadband internet. It was a coproduction between Humungus Pty Ltd, NIDA and AFTRS. It was funded by the Commonwealth Government innovation grant and sponsored by Telstra. Developed and produced by Jason Wheatley and Amanda Morris
The premise was that you are a video editor friend of a recently married couple. They have given you the task of editing their wedding/honeymoon video. The trouble is that they have now broken up and are pressuring you to edit the footage to align with their new agenda. As you proceed they react to the way you edit the footage. You have the power to retell their story and change their relationship.
