In 2006 I contacted Portsmouth University's Computer Graphics Department to see if any of their students might like to get involved in creating a Music Video for a forthcoming single release. I figured that the animator and the university would get some exposure, and I would benefit from a great video for my track.
Luckily I was put in touch with Martin Kennedy and "Asimov" was developed over 5 months.
Martin says, "The story and idea for Asimov came about while listening to various tracks on the album "MELT". The music generated such strong mental images that I knew this would be the track I would work with. Easily the most ambitious piece I had produced so far, Asimov provided innumerable challenges and was a perfect way to expand and advance my skills to achieve the results I wanted".
