Followthrough and Overlap is one of the most important animation principles. It finds so many uses in animation all the time: hair, clothes, floppy ears, but also movement in general. In this particular assignment students apply Followthrough and overlap to the forward movement of an Octopus. This happens with planning the key poses and filling in the in-betweens. Also do students learn to cycle movement for the first time.
