I'd like to sit in ]the Tearfund Rhythms Chair firstly because the Do Lectures sound amazing.
But, further to that because I've recently become somewhat stirred by Thomas Piketty's Capital in the Twenty First Century (I know, sounds thrilling, right?). It is an important book to me because it uniquely provides proof of how unsustainable our current model of capitalism is. More than that it provides a simple (though not easy) course of action and I hope that this will have global implications for our ability to challenge wealth inequality.
I'd like to share what's got me so excited with change makers at the Do Lectures and let these brilliant people share with me what gets them excited!
