I found an even older fly fishing video today, this one filmed at Laguna Pinocho in the Yucatan by Sanchez who's in the boat with the guide. It was late evening and we were on our way back to Punta Allen. A huge storm is building while I take that proverbial last cast! Dang, I forgot how big this bonefish was, especially for Ascension Bay where they typically average no more than a few pounds. At this point in my life, I had only been chasing bonefish a few years. We were both poor teachers back then with really cheap equipment. The guides were surprised to see us as they were more accustom to dealing with rich white dudes.
