A short video produced for the NGO ActionAid. About the people in the township Kankoyo in the Zambian copperbelt. They are are suffering from the emissions of sulphur dioxide being let out from the Anglo-Swiss owned Mopani mine which is just next to 18.000 peoples homes. The children are bleeding from their noses, the streams surrounding the area are polluted by acid, houses are falling apart because of the underground blastings. The local government MP doesn't care. The people are now fighting back against the mine owners.
