I don’t know if most people realize this, but Auschwitz is actually composed of two concentration camps. Auschwitz now is a museum. From the outside it looks like a series of barracks, but inside there are exihibits from the camp. The second camp is called Birkenau; this is the camp featured in the video (another reason why this is the case is because you are not allowed to record video at Auschwitz). Personally, I like Birkenau better because at this camp there are just ruins of the old camp buildings. Later on, all the night time video is from Krakow. This was taken during our tour later that day. The last sequences deal with the Schindler factory and the Krakow ghetto. On the morning before our train ride to Budapest, I walked outside of the old town and visited the Schindler factory. Afterwards I walked to Jozefow street where the Krakow ghetto used to be. All these sites were utilized for the filming of Schindler’s List. The music used is “Tree Fingers” by Radiohead.
