Water is our life blood, but it is scarce and ephemeral, and may become more so in the near future. This Video Music work explores the water shapes found in video shot around Melbourne, Australia. The captured footage is of iconic water walls and fountains and it visually plays with the ambiguity of water shapes - the fluidity, reflectivity, materials, colours and light. The music track uses sound recordings of water and morphs them into different sound shapes and spectra. The connection between sound and vision is predominantly conceptual rather than temporal.
