Anna In Puppetland is the winner of The All Walks Diversity NOW! film category for 2014. The Diversity Now! contest is run by All Walks Beyond The Catwalk (allwalks.org) in association with i-D Magazine to promote individuality, diversity and inclusivity in fashion. This stop motion film was created to criticise the lack of ideology today and the effect the media have on us in many ways. One of these aspects is the way beauty is being defined today and how we are 'manipulated' psychologically. Women today are being shaped by magazines, fashion and many more. The idea of 'sexy' is becoming more and more pornographic and there is not much space for diversity. The purpose of the film is to present these ideas in a few minutes and evoke critical thinking that is basic value for a free mind. The film was inspired by the 'Bitch On Bacon Onions' song of the talented Parisian music band La Mouche.
