Back in March 2014 I had a day off. So instead of learning for my studies I grabbed a Canon C300 (thanks to Videolink in Munich) and did a little test shoot at the gorgeous Königssee in Berchtesgaden. I wanted to test the camera concerning its usability and ergonomics. Furthermore I was interested in the quality of the internal recording and how the codec with its 50 Mbit/s can manage the high dynamic range when shooting in C Log. Luckily it was a bright and sunny day, so I had the chance to test it in a high contrast environment.

This is not a C-Log/graded comparison, it's the already graded material.

Lenses used:
Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6

Graded with Davinci Resolve Lite 10
No Denoising
5% sharpening
