“I hungry,” the tiny little voice sang as his big, blue eyes looked up at me. Those eyes were filled with so much desire, and he knew that if he asked, I would give him what he wanted. He loved and trusted me to take care of him—whether it meant feeding a grumbly belly, kissing boo-boos, or rocking him to sleep with a song.
And I would.
That heart for my child doesn’t even compare to the love His Father has for Him. It doesn’t even come close to how perfectly He can satisfy my son’s needs. What would happen to the faith of our children if they learned from the beginning, that their Heavenly Father loves them so much that He will take care of their needs? He will be their satisfaction.
