On May 25th, 1961, President John F. Kennedy addressed Congress with a speech concerning "Urgent National Needs."
He proposed that the United States should set a goal to land a man on the moon and return him safely by the end of the decade.
On July 20th, 1969, this goal became a reality, science fiction became truth, & the world changed forever.
This is the short story of the Apollo Project and it's impact on our understanding of the universe and ourselves.
