This short was the mid-term project for the lighting class in the Fall of 2006. This was the first time I collaborated with a group of people to make a film. The final film, "Future Shock" that I shot at the other school was me teaching my actors how to use the equipment. So this was a good experience for me. I began working with my good friend and dp Nathan blair on this project and Rick Burnett. This was his first score for my film work and we wanted to go for a techno, city scape, dream like sound. One of the funnier moments on set was when our Nite Man, played by Sam Eidson was trying to eat cake with his horrible beard we made for him to wear. He kept eating the beard with the cake. Later for the end scene he made marc almost lose it with the banter they made at the table.
For this film we picked a poem our professor offered in class written by a former student. I just wish our editing had been better at the time. Nathan's cinematography stands out the most in this film.
