Mural at the entrance of "La terrasse des Arts", cultural centre of Chateauneuf Grasse in france.
A dialogue with French poet Yves Giombini who wrote "Le ciel qu'il imagine", inspiration for the mural.
Chateauneuf Grasse is fully involved in "Le printemps des poètes" (Spring of poets), which is a national initiative to promote poetry in public spaces, and commissioned this collaboration. The poem is engraved on a stone at the entrance of the building, facing its mural interpretation.
The site itself is spectacular, with a sculptural garden full of cypress, bushes and herbs and a dramatic terrasse overlooking at the land, mediterranean sea and Corsica. The colors chosen for this mural were based on 13 tones of the sky, 4 for the sun and 7 garden ones, 24 in total.Carlos Acosta agreed to incarnate this interpretation, displaying a meditative dancer who plays with the endless flow of time and space.
