How does remote parenting look like? First I was inspired by an interesting product called Sammy Screamer, which is a motion alarmer that detects motion, screams and sends the alarm to its owner remotely. Then I questioned my self, what's the role of these cute, little things when it comes to parent-children relationship? How do children interpret the remote parenting through physical toys and their behaviors?
Thus I make this robot with 2 behavior modes. On one hand, it reacts to ambience and then rotates; on the other hand, once the parent starts to pose control over the robot through the controlling panel, the robot will run around and the second behavior becomes the dominated one.
