On Easter Sunday, Jesus left death and an empty tomb behind, the living, breathing first fruits of a new/redeemed creation that is to come. This gospel - that Jesus died for our sins and rose for our justification - changes everything about our lives, including our schedules. As God's people always have, we set aside one day a week for rest and worship. For we New Covenant saints, this day is Sunday, the day of Christ's resurrection. But "going to church" is not merely a religious obligation that we dutifully perform when it's convenient. Being with Jesus' people under Jesus' Word and at Jesus' Table on Day 1 of our week is a communal confession of faith. Our hearts long for this. You couldn't keep us away.
