Background: During their course ‘Italian Food, Culture, and Society - Italian Identity through Food: Arts and Traditions of the Table’, the students of HWS studied three types of food in the city of Rome. The handmade Gelato and the industrial Gelato, the Panino as well as its evolution into the gourmet Panino, and the evolution of the restaurant vs. the traditional Roman trattoria. After the class chose a few places of excellence in Rome that did not have a video component to their media outreach, the students created a promo for each place to give publicity and to particular attention to the ideas of the owners and the innovation behind each concept.
