The USA High School Clay Target League is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and operates it's state affiliates as the independent providers of shooting sports as an extracurricular co-ed activity to high schools for students in grades six through twelve who have earned their firearms safety certification. The League's three priorities, in order of importance, are safety fun and marksmanship.
Teams compete in a “virtual” competition - student athletes only travel to their local gun club and shoot two rounds of clay targets during practices and competitions. Scores are submitted online and compared against other scores from teams within your conference. Conferences are determined by the number of members on a team and you compete against every team in your conference via the League's True Team Scoring™. Athletes monitor their achievements vie the League's Shooter Performance Tracker™ that provides athletes private access to their scores, rankings and personal bests via the internet on their computer, tablet or mobile device.
