‘Fragments of a Life’ is an intimate portrait of a man’s life-long battle with depression. The film explores Pete’s very personal experience with depression and the far-reaching implications of living with what is often a very debilitating condition.
I have been living with Pete for the past half year since I started my part-time MA Anthropology degree at Kent University. The film is shot over a period of 3 months and is the final project for a course in Visual Anthropology.
