"Out on a game drive with one of the #ChobeGameLodge guides. CGL are the only lodge in #Africa to have an all female team, part of their commitment to establish a positive gender balance in their professional team. Lucky for us, Vivien our guide knew exactly what to do, never a moment of hesitation, we were kept informed during the whole "Close Encounter" made for a thrilling experience.... and a couple of extra G&Ts out on the deck"
Botswana holds an estimated 32% of the African elephant population and 20% of these are located in the Chobe National park established in 1960. This makes Chobe the best area
in Africa to see elephants. Chobe Game Lodge is the only permitted camp in the National Park. It responds to this privilege by having a world class environmental mitigation policy, for which has received an #Ecotourism Award the first in #Botswana. The team are constantly working towards reducing their impact. Recently introducing a Biogas plant they are now using to recovering all the organic waste from their operations. With all those elephants and all that Poo, I wonder if they have plans for the first African Lodge to power itself-using Dung!
I am only joking, what would all the dung beetle do?
