Arcs generate themselves around pretty much any mesh I feed into the system. Ive used some metaballs to illustrate how the arcs contour the mesh even as it is moving. Note that the arc doesn't pass into the mesh at all ;)
I like them to be more audio responsive with some accentuation on ultra screechy notes. And also to have them light the mesh properly. I tried some reflection maps but haven't had much luck getting an accurate enough mapping. I think I need to ray trace on sphere coordinates rather than a skybox. But you can't see them here anyway.
