The discoSOUP is a street cooking and food experience to share with everyone, organised and executed globally by the Slow Food Youth Network. The aim is to directly connect producers with consumers, while promoting sustainable local diets and delivering a message against food waste. On December 31, 2013, a team of youth of the convivium Slow Food Thrace, Greece sourced, cooked and shared more than 120kg of local food that would otherwise have ended up to waste. A local street food party with a global message, bringing people together around the pleasure of good, clean and fair food and the power of community. This is the world of Slow Food.
