A personal message to Tony Abbott from the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. The message is a spoof of the condescending Westpac banana smoothie ad explaining its interest rate rises. An immediate response was critical so most of the clip uses the original Westpac animation (linked below), with a number of short scenes created specifically for this message.
Made on the same day Abbott made his announcement the clip took only 2 hours to create. It was released that night to be taken on by Fairfax news websites, receiving over 150,000 views and therefore making it Australia's highest viewed news clip of the week. The number two video was Fairfax's main story following the huge tabloid scandal surrounding Tiger Woods.
