While on location for a corporate film shoot, I discovered first hand just how bad the earthquakes of Feb/July 2011 affected the city of Christchurch, New Zealand.
News reports at the time obviously showed devastating images of mountains of rubble and twisted metal that used to be skyscrapers, buildings, shops and homes, however, like any event, people forgot about it as time went on.
I filmed the images that you see at peak hour (5:00pm-6:00pm) on a weeknight.
Like any city, Christchurch was a hustling, bustling place that was very similar to Sydney or Melbourne in Australia: thousands of people and vehicles would travel through the city at all times of the day, but today, I was lucky to see 10 people.
