When traditional pyrotechnics are not an option, all hope is lost and your event is doomed...or is it? Of course not! Pyro Shows offers a handful of alternatives to actual fireworks. One example would be "cryo jets". "Cryo" is short for cryogenic. The "jet" is a device that shoots large amounts of cold, liquid Co2 into the air and gives the appearance of smoke or fog erupting from the ground. Almost like a geyser. The cool thing is that there is no aggravating fog/haze that lingers for an hour (or longer) after the effect has been used.
This video shows a recent concert where Pyro Shows provided cryogenic stage effects. The event was a local production in Knoxville, TN by the University of Tennessee called "Volapalooza". The band on stage is Fitz & The Tantrums.
