Cut a little over a year ago, this short film was the first piece I ever edited on Final Cut. It was rather simple to move from Adobe Premiere to Final Cut because the work flow is similar. However, the rendering via Compressor is vastly superior to anything I ever used in Adobe. Also, if you watch you will notice I use slow motion for the first time.
Filmed on Super 8 this film is a "test" that was intended to be a promo for my church and its involvement in East Nashville. However, shortly after I finished this; my churched stopped its involvement so my video was rendered useless. I rediscovered it posted on Vimeo today and unlocked it to share with everyone. Fortunately, I learned a lot and I hope you enjoy its whimsical simplicity.
Features "I'm Psyched" from the In Good Company soundtrack.
