Dad bought us a paddle board for his house on Lake Conway. It's very hot there in September, so I tend to go out before dawn to beat the heat. Not wanting to get run over by a speed boat in the darkness, I bought some yellow blinky jogger LEDs and put them on the sweat band on my head. Left the camera running on the dock and made this rather psychedelic sequence in which I go across the lake and back, all before sunrise.
It's much darker out on the lake than this video makes it look. My Nikon has really excellent low-light sensitivity and makes it look almost like daylight. Which it ain't, when you're out there.
The Orlando airport is right those lights to the right so those are airplanes streaking in to land in the background. A rather typical tropical Florida sunrise appears on the horizon after my little paddle board adventure.
