Petey has always loved how things work - how they work together and how they operate. Exacts and precision detail. Structure, order and assembly.
He grew up rollerblading in the ditches of Albuquerque and wrenching on his '73 VW Sunroof Super Beetle. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Coast Guard where he spent 4 years at Golden Gate station in San Francisco. After completion of the Coast Guard, Eric worked as head mechanic for 4 years while going to school to work in emergency medicine. He taught himself everything there is to know about bicycles and how they work.
Today - when he's not working in the hectic ER room, he's building world class wheels of all makes, sizes, and builds. He's known as the best wheelsmith in New Mexico and trusted by many national and international professional cyclists as their personal wheelsmith. He's a wheelsmith wizard!
