A monologue documentary of a 20-something showing how common it is to be completely lost at such an important time in our lives.
"She's average height.
She wears her hair curly to feel a sense of innocence when things in the world begin to be too hard.
She wears sundresses when it’s warm enough, but tends to stick to dull colors.
She has always wanted to branch out and be herself by being able to wear bright colors, but she worries that the rest of the world will not take her seriously.
Whenever she is stressed or upset, her first reaction is to clean whatever she can get her hands on; a means of controlling the uncontrollable. She feels at peace when everything is in it’s place.
Experiences from life and love have marked her. She’s hurt from the men she thought loved her, only to know they loved another.
She’s worried for her future, worried she won’t be enough.
She craves for the day when she can feel completely comfortable with who she is. She knows she’s beautiful, but she can’t admit it. She aches to be exactly who she knows she could be… but the question she battles is.. “How?"
