So this aurora popped up without the usual much-fanfared coronal mass ejection, most likely as a result of a coronal hole blowing on our megnetosphere. Also great that there is (barely) no moon and relatively cloudless.
This video represents about 11 hours- 7:30pm through to 6:30 am- totalling about 820 x 24 second pictures. Each picture is taken at 28mm, ISO 800 and f/1.8.
