A live piece performed on the Continuum Fingerboard, using it's internal sound engine combined with sounds from Kyma. The entire audio performance was constructed in Kyma's timeline, processing sound from the Continuum as well as combining custom sound elements created in Kyma. The timeline also controls changes to the internal sound of the Continuum. After the live performance was videotaped, I enhanced the video with graphical elements and video sequences. The additional visual elements tell two stories, both abstracted. One is the effect a car crash has on a person's sense of time and place, and the other is a reflection on the Continuum and Kyma structure that was used to construct the piece. Users of Kyma will recognize the syntax of the capytalk expressions.
