'The Caravan - Story Three' is the third part in a trilogy of shorts from Director Andrew Gunn.
In the near future, a man visits his father living in an old Caravan hidden in a forest. However, his reclusive nature is revealed to be a reaction to the more sinister side of government control. Guest starring David Warner (Planet of the Apes, Titanic,Tron).
Each film explores different themes, with the constant thoughout being lead actor Ian Puleston-Davies, and the location - a deserted, run-down caravan in a secluded opening within a timeless West Yorkshire forest. Each film was shot in two days, the trilogy being filmed over a period of one year in order to enhance a visual seasonal passing of time.
Gareth Hughes was the DoP for all three films, which was originated on the Sony PMW-F3 using Zeiss CP Primes and an AJA KiPro-mini recording 10-bit S-Log data files. Contrasting colour grades were applied to each film to allow each to elicit different emotional responses.
