“Meditation and the Creative Process” with Amanda Tasse
May 2: 1-3pm / SCI L106
Amanda will guide participants through simple meditation and contemplation techniques drawn from Shambhala Art. Shambhala Art’s purpose is to explore the creative process and the product we call art, from the viewpoint of a meditative discipline. Amanda began meditating in high school and has been a Shambhala Art teacher since 2005. These techniques can be applied to any type of work, aid with stress relief, and are accessible to anyone.
All iMAPPENING events take place at the School of Cinematic Arts complex, located at 900 W 34th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007.
