Bath’s honey gold stone columns have been colourfully adorned with over 2,000 handmade woollen flowers.

Yarn bombing, urban graffiti with wool, took place in Bath on Thursday 1st May in time for the city’s annual Fashion fest Bath in Fashion 2014.

The roses which have been crocheted by volunteers in a series of workshops led by local textile artist Emma Leith.

For every rose created, Bath company Cloud Direct will pledge 10p to Kids Company providing practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people in Bristol and London.

Founder of Kids Company Camila Batmanghelidjh, known for her colourful dress, will be talking about fashion as armoury at Bath in Fashion with Viv Groskop the writer, stand-up comedian and Artistic Director of the Bath Literature Festival.

All ticket sales will be donated directly to the charity.
