A touching drama about a recently widowed father as he tries to build a better relationship with his grieving children following the sudden death of their mother. Despite his numerous attempts, David struggles to win over the affection of his teenage daughter Sophie, causing more strain on their already troubled relationship.
Memento Mori was our final year project for our fiction unit. The brief allowed us to create anything we wanted, between 10-15 minutes in duration. We wanted to create a film with universal themes, such as love and family, and originally decided to make a film about a family creating a bucket list, but through many script changes and updates, we eventually came to creating this film.
