246 million people world-wide suffer from poor vision. Being legally blind usually forces a person to put aside their dreams. Due to poor vision most adapt more slowly to unfamiliar places, and must endure the constant challenge of finding transportation to get around. However, Tommy Barretta does not assume the role of a victim and refuses to just settle for a life that aligns with the world’s expectations. He followed his passion and become a professional photographer. Although he struggles with small tasks that require him to see details, he manages to find a unique ability to capture emotional and powerful images though his camera lens. His good-natured attitude and approach toward life are uplifting and inspiring. This film explores his craft, tells his story and demonstrates his skills as a professional photographer, who just happens to be legally blind.
